With Lars Fält's experience of what works in the wilderness and Casström's knowledge of making knives, we knew we were onto a winner with the Lars Fält knife.

With a full-tang construction, Uddeholm Sleipner steel, and a handle of carefully selected curly birch, this is a knife that isn't afraid of tough work, and will still look great at the end of the day! The Scandinavian grind lends itself well to outdoor tasks and remains easy to sharpen in the field.

A sturdy and deep sheath in vegetable-tanned leather and a leather cord for the lanyard hole is included.

About the steel:

Uddeholm Sleipner steel is tool steel well suited for knife manufacture. The steel is heat-treated according to normal procedures. Once hardened, Sleipner steel offers good edge retention and is easy to sharpen, even in the field. The addition of almost 8% chromium offers better stain resistance in comparison to other carbon steels (although it should be pointed out that it is not stainless steel, and is not resistant to staining or corrosion).

Composition: C 0.9%, Si 0.9%, Mn 0.5%, Cr 7.8%, V 0.5%
